London Skolars are delighted to announce the signing of Full-Back Will Colleran, who joins the club after spending five years at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Will, pictured above with Skolars Head Coach Joe Mbu, joined Wakefield as a 15 year old, having come through scholarship periods with Castleford and Leeds. He progressed to play for the Wildcat’s 18’s and 20’s and along the way picked up representative honours with Yorkshire and England Youth.

Will is studying at Leeds Met and is on a year’s work placement in London. On signing for the Skolars he expressed his delight at making the move to the South. “I’ve been lucky enough to find accomodation in London nearby to where I will be working so I am very excited at the prospect of experiencing life in London and playing Rugby League for the Skolars. Recent results show that Skolars are moving in the right direction so it’s up to me to work hard to gain a place in the side”.

Skolars Coach Joe Mbu was equally enthusiastic about his latest signing. “It’s no secret that I have been keen to add to the current squad so when the opportunity to sign Will came along I was delighted to welcome him on board and I’m looking forward to working with him in the coming months”.
