A record number of the London Skolars Junior section have been selected for the 2011 Hard Rock Cafe Origin Series. No less than 23 young Skolars have made it on to the representative pathway, with the club being represented at every age group from under 12 up to under 18. The Hard Rock Cafe Origin Series is a two match series involving the cream of the London Junior League where the North play against the South to become London’s Origin champions.

Skolars’ Community Rugby League Coach and North Under 16s head coach Graeme Spencer enthused, “Having 23 players on the representative programme is oustanding work from not only the players involved but their coaches, the volunteers at the club and, significantly, their parents. As their club coach I am over the moon at the selection of so many Skolars but as a North Origin coach, I will be expecting a lot from all the players involved. Saying that, we’re very proud of all players selected and it’s a reflection of the great season we’re having with the juniors so far.”
