Wednesday 12th October saw the club confirm new contracts for Hooker Jonny Bell & Half/Hooker Elliott Hutchings, the latest to re-commit from the 2022 season squad.

They add to the growing list of players retained heading into 2023 which includes forwards; Matt Ross, Henry Davetanivalu, Liam O’Callaghan, Doug Chirnside, Luciano Bejanidze & player/assistant coach Ollie Bloom as well as wingers Leighton Ball and Shane Hurley.

In addition the club has also re-signed middle forwards Fraser Piercy-Farley, Kojo Korang, back rowers Aston Stephenson & Josh Dalton, hookers Kayne Chan-Kitchener & Jake Tilford and outside backs David Bofenda & Connor Flanagan.

Head Coach Joe Mbu, pleased at how the squad is shaping up said “It’s great to have the guys on board already, we wanted to get some things sorted earlier this year, its a good start and there is more work to do! You need a sizeable squad in this league and we want good competition for all positions in the team. There should be some more announcements over the next couple of weeks.”
