The club are delighted to announce that full back, Jarred Bassett has signed ahead of the 2022 Betfred League 1 season. Bassett joins from Wests Warriors, who have dominated the Southern Conference League over the last couple of years. Jarred captained and inspired ‘Wests’ to the second round of this year’s Challenge Cup.

Head Coach, Joe Mbu, was delighted to confirm the signing “Jarred will be a key part of our squad this season. It is unfortunate that he is cup tied but Skolars supporters can look forward to seeing him in the League. He has the ability to be a standout player in League 1”

Bassett was named SCL player of the year for 2021 and was selected in a list of thirteen of the most promising players in the grassroots game in 2020.
