The club are pleased to announce the re-signing of winger Abevia McDonald on a one-year deal. Abevia broke into the first-team in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength. McDonald was included in Jamaica’s recent squad for the matches against Scotland & England Knights.

General Manager, Charlie de Haan commented on the deal “the club are delighted to bring Abevia back for another season. He has represented himself, the club and his country in an impeccable way and will be a role model to some of the young players that we are looking to bring in. He has shown that hard work pay off and is a big part of our plans”

McDonald also expressed his delight in signing a new deal – “I am so happy to be given the opportunity to re-sign for London Skolars. The 2021 season taught me a lot and I feel that I made real progress but there is still more work to do. I am really excited to work with the new Head Coach. Bring on the new season!”.
