When the Malta Knights play the Denmark Lions on Saturday in Copenhagen London Skolars Danny Burke will be making his debut for the Maltese. This is the second leg of the 2012 Dove Men+Care International Series with Malta having won the first game 24-12 in June.

Ironically the Danes are coached by former Skolars player Nigel Kitching and the Skolars donated a playing kit to Denmark last year, which they wore in an international against Sweden.

Danny has had a difficult year with injuries, which in fact ruled him out of the first game in June. He’s now fit and showed good form playing for Skolars A’s recently when they had a resounding victory in the Harry Jepson Trophy Final against Northampton Demons.

Danny will be joined in the Malta team by Bradford Bull Jarrod Sammut.
