The partnership between London Skolars and Middlesex University, as their HE Academic Partner, has seen some exciting developments in the capital over the past few years. The 2011-2012 academic year saw Middlesex University compete in the BUCS Rugby League South Division for the first time, facing stern games from well established student rugby league clubs in the South, such as Oxford Brookes, Brunel, Cambridge, Essex and St Marys. Middlesex finished in a well-deserved fourth place position, winning four games and losing six. London Skolars are looking forward to supporting Middlesex in their upcoming 2015-16 BUCS Rugby League South season, with Middlesex looking to build upon the platform they have set, with several players joining the Skolars performance pathway, playing semi-professionally for the first team and open-age level with the ‘A’ team.
