London Skolars have re-signed one of League One’s top goal scorers, Neil Thorman, ahead of the 2020 season.

Commenting on the hooker’ re-signing, Skolars’ Head Coach Jermaine Coleman, said:

“I am really happy that we have re-signed Neil. He had a fantastic season last year. He brings great experience and a real understanding of how I would like the team to play. I am hoping he is going to continue with us for some time and  bring exactly the same things that he did last season ”

The 36 year old originally signed for Skolars in 2010 but left the club to pursue an opportunity to play in Australia. Newcastle born Thorman has previously played for Gateshead Thunder, York City Knights, SO Avignon Bisons in France, Whitehaven and Coogee Dolphins. He re-joined in 2018 and is delighted to have signed on once again. 

He re-signs for the club on the back of a very strong 2019 campaign, appearing in all of the games and scoring over 100 points for the club. Thorman commented: “I am very pleased to be signing with London Skolars again. We had a great start to the season this year and I am looking forward to building on all the strong performances we had”.
