The countdown is almost complete for the 2019 Capital Challenge with London Skolars’ season curtain raiser taking place on Friday. Jermaine Coleman’s new-look squad will face current Super League champions Wigan Warriors at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in the heart of the city.
Fans are invited to enjoy an afternoon of Rugby League hospitality like no other. The day begins with an investment conference, attended by various high-profile sponsors and partners, before a three-course meal is served in the venue’s luxurious dining hall. The event represents an incredible opportunity for companies and fans to network and expand their business.
An incredible lineup of globally-renowned sponsors have been confirmed with Nasdaq, a US-based equities exchange, headlining. Seven other high-profile businesses have also invested in the event, including HAN etf, CoinShares (UK) Limited, Lyxor International Asset, IG, Pcubed, Link Asset and RBC.
Wigan Warriors are one of the most recognisable Rugby League brands in the world. They boast a trophy-laden history and have enjoyed a period of immense success over the past few years. The Warriors have won four Super League titles, two Challenge Cups and a World Club Challenge since the turn of the decade.
The guest speaker and guest of honour at this year’s event is Wigan RL and Great Britain legend Ellery Hanley MBE. Ellery played for Bradford, Leeds, Western Suburbs and Balmain. He was also Head Coach of Great Britain, St Helens and Doncaster.
