Jerome Yates has re-signed with London Skolars for the 2019 Betfred League 1 season. The 21-year-old, who can play either on the wing or at full back, will join his teammates for training once preseason begins.

Jermaine Coleman, London Skolars Head Coach, commented:

“We are very glad that Jerome will continue his development with us. He got a small taste of it last year with some games and proved himself capable of playing at this level. Hopefully, with another preseason under his belt, he will get more games this year and prove himself to be a vital member of the squad.”

Yates has been with London Skolars since his early teens, working his way through the Academy up to the reserves before breaking into the first team. He said:

“I am delighted to sign for another year with London Skolars. When I was playing as a junior, I always dreamed of playing for the first team and now I’m here. I can’t wait to get back out there and be with the boys.”
