New 2018 Replica Kit range launched

2018 replica kit

London Skolars have released their all new 2018 replica kit range, with the ‘away’ kit already proving a huge hit with fans.

Errea become the new kit manufacturers with British based ‘Buy Your Sports Kit’ supplying the Skolars with the range and additional accessories available across the season.

Commenting on the announcement, Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said:

“Having a high quality, visually appealing replica kit is a cornerstone for any sports brand. We have worked hard at getting the balance of integrating our historic popular home shirt, with offering a modern alternative kit that appeals to people of all ages. The feedback we have had already has been great and the black kit in particular is raising massive interest. It appears at this early stage that this may become a second kit of choice for fans at other clubs which is rewarding to hear.”

James Milner, National Sales Manager of BSK, said: Having worked with the London Skolars since 2016 we are delighted to have extended our partnership working alongside Italian sportswear giant errea. Fans of the Skolars can look forward to some great retail products throughout the season and beyond including the two fantastic shirts which have gone down very well since their release”

London Skolars have agreed become ‘host venue’ for the world’s first Transatlantic rugby team, Toronto Wolfpack, in their Championship game against Yorkshire side Halifax.

Saturday April 28th will see the ‘Wolfpack’ play a ‘home game’ on the road due to ongoing developments at Lamport Stadium in Toronto. The Canadian side will be making their second visit to the capital in a year, following the Skolars game against the Toronto men in the 2017 season opener.

Commenting on the landmark game, Skolars General Manager, Simon Fox, said:

“The Wolfpack have made a huge impact within the game of Rugby League in their relatively short existence. They are a club and a brand that exude class and have a real desire to expand their support base and following. London is the perfect platform for them to do that and given their ongoing stadium developments and the large Canadian community in the Capital, we were delighted to offer the use of New River Stadium to support their ambitions.”

Kick off will for the landmark game will be at 6.30pm with gates opening from 5pm. A pre-match Try Tag Rugby Tournament will take place alongside a Canadian themed ‘Fanzone’, boasting live music and entertainment before and after the game.

Tickets are now available via our ticket partners Eventbrite here:

London Skolars lost out narrowly in a tough, if not classic, game against Cumbrian outfit, Whitehaven.

Tries through Billy Driver had left the visitors trailing by only 2 points in the final minutes before a penalty awarded to the London side presented Sam Nash with the chance to pull the scores level and progress to be decided via golden point.

Despite a brave effort it wasn’t to be. Kudos must go to the visitors after making a huge round trip from Haringey to the wintery conditions of Cumbria.
