London Skolars have confirmed their pre-season line up with the announcement of the 4th Annual ‘London Clash’, which will take place on Saturday 27th January, 3pm at New River Stadium

The annual fixture is a keenly contested event with Skolars losing narrowly to the Broncos 16 – 18 in January 2017. The men from Haringey will be looking to redress the balance against a Broncos Select XIII, seeking a win for the first time in the history of these fixtures.

As one of the highlights of early season, the game provides a key opportunity for both clubs to test themselves on the back of a rigorous pre-season training programme and as a follow up to the ever popular ‘Capital Challenge’ against Wigan Warriors a week earlier.

Thousands of rugby league fans in London will have the chance to watch and meet the athletes on show which celebrates the very best of London’s ‘home grown’ making its way to the first team of both squads throughout the years. The game also provides an opportunity to see who secures the all-important local bragging rights as unofficial ‘Champions of London’.

A wealth of players in both squads have been produced by the ever growing London development programmes; some via the Skolars, such as Daniel Hindmarsh and via the Broncos pathways for players such as Louis Robinson. The match hails a meeting of North London versus West London in a match that has evolved to a game of real significance to fans and players alike.

The main event will be supported by an exciting curtain raiser between leading London amateur teams, London Chargers and West Warriors extending the London-vibe for the popular event.

The New River experience will feature a real ale festival from midday to help lubricate the voices of the passionate fans of both sides.

Early bird tickets for the game are available from only £12 until 1st January, with entry on the day £15 for adults and just £5 for a junior season ticket.

Hospitality tables are also available for £40 per person (+vat) or £350 (+vat) for a table of 10.
