London Skolars are proud to announce the signing of ex-Bronco Will Lovell.

Standing at 6ft 4 and weighing in around 16 stone Lovell is known for his destructive running and deceptively soft hands at second row. And at only 21 years of age his experience at the top flight is undeniable and impressive.

Skolars fans will already know the name Will Lovell as he has graced the striped shirt before having made 8 appearances for Skolars last year as part of the duel registration agreement between Skolars and Broncos.

He will be a welcomed sign for many of the Skolars players as they look to add quality to a squad which has struggled in the opening two cup games

Club Captain Dave Williams had this to say,

‘Will is a great player to have around the squad. He brings some great experience despite his age and i’m sure teams will struggle to deal with his size out wide, as they struggled the times he has played for us before.’

Starting his RL career at Northampton Demons Will was quickly spotted by the then named Harlequins RL. Working his way through the academies and reserved Will made his Super League debut at the tender age of 18. Going on to make 33 Super League appearances. An impressive stat for such a young man and late starter.

Lovell had this to say,

‘After having a good experience playing on duel reg last year and after having a few troubled years with injury, I’m looking forward to playing regularly and staying injury free, and hope to progress personally and as a team with the Skolors.’

The next time you can see Will and the Skolars in action is the 3rd April VS Hemel Stags. The local derby is set to be the biggest derby yet with the rivalrary between the two clubs building in the pre season.
