BRONCOS TO BE SKOLARS OPPOSITION FOR THE OPENING OF THE ‘NEW’ NEW RIVER STADIUM
On Sunday January 25th (Kick off 3pm) London Skolars will face London Broncos in a pre-season London Clash.
The competitive friendly will be the first rugby league match held since the newly renovated New River Stadium reopened. The match should generate significant excitement with the new look Broncos looking to bounce straight back into the First utility Super League. The game is also re-establishes the tradition of the two clubs playing a marquee game just before the season kicks off.
New River Stadium has been the focus of a £4 million regeneration project and this game will not only be their inaugural game in the renovated grounds but will also begin Skolars’ 20th anniversary season celebrations which more information will be announced about in the near term.
The newly rebuilt stadium will not only have a 4G pitch, new changing facilities, cafe and bar but will also provide Skolars with the opportunity to offer an exceptional hospitality package on game day. These facilities will be the envy of most clubs involved in professional rugby and should help launch a bright future for the Skolars. As a part of the day Skolars will also be hosting a Broncos U19s match to be played before the main event with kick-off at 12:30pm. Opponent TBD.
